The Patina of an Old Barrel

I love the patina of this barrel that I photographed at Astoria’s new brewery called Singlecut Beersmiths. Excellent craft beer! Had anyone told me 5 years ago that my neighborhood would eventually get a brewery, I would have called bs on them. Here we are and it’s damned good.

Mask Made From Rope

Before we did her hair and wrapped rope around her face, we enjoyed a dinner of shrimp mixed in with the quinoa. We drank red wine and listened to Nitzer Ebb, Jazz and Blues. My fiance threaded her hair into braids then the rope. The look was inspired by Romans. The rope was inspired by Manila.

A day in the life of New York City

“Fire is beautiful and we know if we get too close that it will kill us but what does that matter. It is better to be happy for a moment and be burned up with beautiful than to live a long time and be bored all the while…” – Don Marquis from Archy and Mehitabel, “The Lesson of the Moth”

he has a vision for your future.
