I’m selling prints at LIC Flea and Food in Long Island City tomorrow from 10-6 and every Saturday thereafter until September 28. I’ve hesitated posting anything about this but have been encouraged by my customers’ responses. This is just a small sampling of what will be included but it gives you an idea. Even if you’re not looking for prints, I highly recommend checking this flea market out. I’m earnings have been going into new purchases from there — kinda defeats the point but cool stuff.

My photography business offers documentary event photography curtailed for modern marketing and content sharing. I like to tell stories about the events that organizers work so hard to make.

This was taken at a newish spot in Brooklyn called Bossa Nova — easily one of my new favorite places in New York. The venue permeated with a cool, relaxed vibe and the house and techno was mixed by top quality DJs. It’s hard to find a place like this in New York since Manhattan’s real estate has made it nearly impossible for a place like this to flourish but, as usual, Brooklyn tops Manhattan (and this is coming from a guy who lives in Astoria, Queens).

It’s been a long and productive day. And with that, I bid you goodnight, Astoria. Time to chill the eff out.

I test concepts for future shoots during winter months. With this photo, I placed a lazer pointer in a beer coozy, taped the button down so that the light would stay on. The Cure played in the background. Atmospheric stuff. Looked like green stars. The only lights were from the lazer pointer, a couple of candles and the street lamps outside.
I love the patina of this barrel that I photographed at Astoria’s new brewery called Singlecut Beersmiths. Excellent craft beer! Had anyone told me 5 years ago that my neighborhood would eventually get a brewery, I would have called bs on them. Here we are and it’s damned good.

This is my friend. She’s an actress and playwright in NYC who does remarkable work. We did a quick portrait session. She blew her hair out of her face. I liked it so much that I asked her to do it again, which she did.
