Resetting in the Forest

I can’t help photographing trees and objects in nature just as I would people during different phases of their lives. All of these objects here reminded me of suffering, joy and contemplation — all human qualities. They stuck out like messages from the forest. Experiencing this kind of intimacy and peace is like hitting the reset button for me when returning to the chaos of New York City.
